 Information on Composer

I'm playing a solo piece called "Chrysalis" by Gustave Langenus. I can't find any information on it's time period or on its composer. It is on the Music Minus One Beginning Solos book. Can anyone help me please?

Gustave Langenus is a clarinettist/teacher, who worked during early 1900's. Carl Fisher still publishes his exercise book I,II,and III.

p.s. I also have the MMO Laureate series played by Harold Wright. It's fun to play with Wright.
