Haha, I got a kick out of this.
We were in rehearsal earlier today and were rehearsing the Lopatnikoff Concerto for Wind Orchestra. The tempo at this section we were playing slows down quite a lot and the conductor was trying to explain the somber and mellow mood that is exhibited. He said that it was sad, noting that he was from Estonia. Well the bass clarinetist leaned over to the eb clarinetist and was whispering something and the whole section burst out into laughter with the director completely clueless. They thought he had said he was "a stoner" which is why he wrote the way he did...!
The director didn't know what a stoner was, so for a bunch of college kids to explain a "stoner" to the director was quite a hoot.

Oh man, sorry, I didn't realize that that was such a new term. A stoner is (like Jimmy said) a pothead. Someone who smokes marijuana (which was quite appropriate since several composers have used it for inspiration, e.g. Berlioz).
