 Francaix on concert

Hi to everyone. Let me invite you for concert which I will play on March 26. I will play Francaix concerto with Czech chamber philharmonic orchestra. The concert will be in Bohuslav Martinu hall in Prague in Czech Republic. Everybody are willcome!!!

Wow! Congratulations; that's an extremely difficult piece. I've thought on transposing it and playing it on the A clarinet. That way I'll play in the key of C. What are your thoughts on that? I know it would still be very difficult.

Yes Ted, it is quite dificult piece. To transpose it it would make it easier probably but if you start to practice this in original it goes well and now it seems to me impossible to play in a different key. Also I am not sure about color of sound in diferent key. Now it sounds wery nice and "lovely". Karel
