Anyone got leads for this book by Artie Shaw ?

Amazon.com says it's out of print, and amazon.co.uk says it's available immediately for £100 ???

I'm after 3 of 'em for playing colleagues.

I'll keep searching meantime.

If you click on the persons name that has reviewed the book on Amazon, you can get their e-mail address and perhaps they would be willing to sell you their copy.

Here is the link http://www.swing-thing.com/TheHomeOf/FredHallsSwingThing/Artie_Shaw_book.html

The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) system was introduced in the late 1960s. Each book and edition has a unique number. This is by far the best way to find books. In this case, the ISBN for The Trouble With Cinderella is 1-56474-020-X. I put in the interior string 56474-020 and came up with several sources.

A number of sources will find the ISBN for a title or author. Here's the one for the Library of Congress: http://catalog.loc.gov/

Ken, that is so great to know! I wrote a book in 1997 and had lost my records on the ISBN, etc. So, I did a search under my name as author and WHALAA--there it was.

It's out of print, by the way--so I'm not trying to promote my book. I've been asked to re-print but the book needs some rewriting and I'm too lazy to do it. The first one took too much out of me.

Anyway, that's off the subject of The Trouble with Cinderella, but wanted to thank Ken for all that great info.

re the Swing Thing source: I put the book in checkout and somebody's name came up in the UK and with a $67 ups shipping cost. I wonder if this is a secure source.
