If you go to www.woodwind.org and click on the link that says "music & midi" you'll get a bunch of stuff there. If you download a trial version of "finale" or "cakewalk", you can view midi files as sheet music. Usually, the trial versions just keep you from creating and saving modified music, but won't limit you from viewing already created midi files and printing out sheet music.

Also, don't look JUST for clarinet. Look for ANY instrument (flute, trumpet, horn, sax, etc. etc.) Just don't try to play that music with a piano or anything.

Sibelius also has a really good website with lots of composers posting their works to see (and play) for free.

Ditto that on Finale, David...not that I'm necessarily endorsing one or the other...but it's there too...

How does one view MIDI files as sheet music in Finale Notepad? Is it possible with the freebie?

I don't know about that Ralph...I have the full thing...and I still haven't messed around with its MIDI capabilities!

As far as the Finale files, they're online at the website: http://www.finalemusic.com under the "Finale Showcase." Viewing of the files requires a free downloadable Finale Viewer...
