 Lester Young

I posted last Friday concerning Art Pepper; asking whether anyone knew of a clarinet only recording. I'm also curious about Lester Young. These two guys played the clarinet beautifully. Anyone know of a clarinet only album by Lester? If not, how about which of his recordings had the most clarinet playing? Thanks.

This topic has been covered previously - search the woodwind.org database for "Lester Young"

That being said, best Prez clarinet work would be on the Kansas City Six recordings for Commodore records: Way Down 'yonder in New Orleans, I want a Little Girl, Pagin the Devil.

Also, some clarinet on his recordings for Columbia with Glen Hardmann (organ).
