Yamaha Custom AE

This is another - "What do you think about this clarinet.." type of note.

There has been a lot of discussion and write up on the new Selmer Signature that makes it stand out and above all the other Selmers.

It now appears that Yamaha also has a new model. I have heard that the Yamaha Custom AE is also very good, and in fact, on par with the Signature. Does anyone have ANY information, experience or opinion on the Yamaha Custom AE?

I don't have any reference on the Yamaha at this time. However I am going to TMEA (Texas Music Educators Assoc.) new week and while I'm there I'm going to go by all the instrument manufacturers booths and try out their new issues. (San Antonio is a lot closer tha Ca. to me, so I usually forgo NAMM and go there instead.) I'll post what I find out (have mouthpiece, will travel!)
