I was wondering if other clarinetists are amazed by her playing as I am. I have around 75 CDs featurig the clarinet, and two of them which feature her playing really stand out.

I'm afraid i've never heard of her. I have well over 100 cd's of clarinet players and i'd have to say the players that stand out for me in the way of classical players are Sabine Meyer, Kjell-Inge Stevensson, and Renate Rusche on bass clarinet.

Yes I agree. She is realy good. I have heard her live concert in Prague two years ago. She played Penderecki Clarinet concerto with Czech philharmonic orchestra. It was world premiere and it was amazing....

Some years ago, my husband made a tape from the radio of her playing the Mozart clarinet concerto in a concert from Ravinia. It was in the "Rising Stars" series and I think that Ms. Kam was approximately 17. It was an amazing performance for a teenager. I played the tape in my car many times.
