 Fingering for smears A#-B/C-C#

The most recent thread seems to have closed,

but I got to playing around last night, so here's my input: Keil's in-depth description was spot-on, but for a short term fix, I tried this fingering for A#-B above the staff---TR100-100 for A#, and roll right index finger off key to smear to B. For the C-C# smear, play C as TR100-000+lowest trill key, and roll left index off for C#---these are both a bit flat on my R-13, but can be lipped up easily.

the idea is to practice it until you're able to bend any note down granted once you get to say F or E within the staff the degree to which the note can be bent becomes smaller and smaller however you can then bend upward... it is possible using this method to do the glissando in Rhapsody in Blue without sliding your fingers but by merely letting your fingers "huver" over the keys. This technique is a bit harder to explain via the internet but it'll start making sense once you begin experimenting with the system. It's all apart of voicing.
