 Music Education in Canada

ATTENTION ALL CANADIAN CLARINET TEACHERS!!! (and others who can help).

I am a 24 year old clarinet teacher from Australia who is going to be moving to Canada in the new year and needs some help/information on the structure of music education there.
I have been teaching clarinet (and saxophone and piano) for the past six years and will be finishing my B.Mus Studies before I move. I have worked both in my own private studio and in schools.

Can anyone tell me what the system in Canada is like in regards to instrumental lessons? Do most students learn through school or is there a market in private tuition? What kind of rates are charged? What is the best way to advertise for students?

If anyone can help me I would be most appreciative! I love teaching and am very sad to be leaving my students in Australia. I would love to continue this career overseas and find new students to inspire.
