 Ricardo Morales - French Portraits
Author: Ben

I just listened to a 'new' CD of Ricardo's on Boston Records, playing pieces by Widor, Saint-Saens, Poulenc, Bozza, Debussy, and others.

It has some incredibly virtuosic and musical playing. I highly recommend this CD!

Ditto
Very lyrical
The kind of thing I like to listen to in solitude, except maybe with a nice Cognac.
Would next like to hear what he does with the Germanic literature, with full orchestra. (and of course with a nice Weissenbrau to go with it)

I don't think there's a better player out there anywhere. Always tasteful, always dead on.

Mr. Morales can do things on the clarinet that no one else is capable of. Most amazing!
