Reeds again

Hi

I thought about trying the Gonzalez reeds again (might be regulars this time, but alo FOF). Does anyone know from experience the difference in strength from the Grand Concert reeds (I looked in the chart already). I use GC 2.5 usually, and sometimes 3. What strength should I get from Gonzalez?

Did anyone try the Gonzalez bass clarinet reeds? It says they have them on the DavieCane main page but I don't see them listed on there website. How do they compare in strength with Grand Concert bass clarinet reeds? I use mostly 2.5 and 3 from GC. What about Gonzalez tenor sax reeds for bass clarinet?

Also I'd like to try a few more brands. I thought of trying Zonda tenor sax reeds for bass clarinet. What strength again comparing to GC 2.5? What strength Legre comparing to GC 2.5?

Hi,
Yes, bass reeds are available. I just haven't gotten the web store updated yet. Do you know the old saying about anybody who represents themself in court? Well, the same goes for people who do their own IT work as well. :-)
I suggest a 2.75 or 3.0. Tenor reeds will work but the bass reeds, of course, will perform better.
