 altissimo D

The high D on my Bb clarinet is significantly sharper than all notes around it. If I tune the instrument to deal with the D, the throat tones go too flat and the high E also becomes uncomfortably flat. It is a new instrument and some of the rings/key heights need adjusting in the near future. Aside from this though, is there any reason for the problem with this D? Without using the Eb vent key the D becomes weak sounding but closer to pitch. Thanks for any thoughts you may have.
