I've have always cut, trimmed, "sand-papered", experimented, etc..., with my reeds. But have never thought of producing my own Eb reeds. I've been in a daring mood lately and HAVE been cutting my Bb reeds down to Eb reeds! I have had GREAT success with this and these reeds i'm producing are surprisingly good! But I have found ump-teen millions ways to cut them from the Bb reeds. I'm posting now to find out what ways work best for those of you who cut your Bb reeds down to suit your Eb needs. I'd love some new ideas... Thanks.
