Please, turn off all spamarrest type filtering for messages authenticated to be from woodwind.org or mail.sneezy.org. All email addresses provided when signing in must be accessible by the mail servers here without being intercepted by spam filters.

Will do, Mark [if I can]. "MY AOL 9.0" has just now installed such a filter in my comp., but gives me a list of the messages filtered for my review and [nearly complete so far] deletion, apparently responding to complaints ?? Am happy to accept any advice. Don

That's a different technique and doesn't have the same problem. "Spamarrest"-type systems need positive feedback from the sender - they require the human sender to type something before their messages are received by the recipient. While they're great for random spam, they're absolutely horrid for automated systems that you've subscribed to. The system-generated message doesn't have a "human" behind it to go to some web site and type in something. In fact, if all you have is email, it's impossible to send any mail to someone with this feature if you're not "whitelisted".

For Spamarrest users they should be checking their mail at the spamarrest server to make sure that there isn't any legit mail being held. I authorise users quite often on my end even though they get the mail to go to the site to enter the code to prove that they aren't a bot.

However, if I get "bounce mail" when I have the system verify addresses I will drop the account. There needs to be a way to automatically set up a whitelist for particular servers.

There is - it's under options. A user can authorize an entire domain very easily.
I highly recommend spamarrest as it deadends all spam without ever lossing a single legit mail - can can see all the spam before it is deleted and manually delete it, and ban the sending address so that you never get mail from that address again.
send an e-mail to anything@mytempo.com and you can see how it works. But if you do use it make sure to click on the options link and authorize the domains that you get mail lists from as the bounces clog up the sending mailers or they just consider it an invalid address and drop the subscription after a few times.
