The serial# of a Buffet indicates it is Circa 67 but it doesn't have screw adjustment on a/a flat keys can this be?you know the one, the full Boehm I clutter the bulliten board about, is this a key to age determination?can you tell by comparing to R13 visually if it is same bore i.e.polycylindrical I have matched up joints on the 2 instruments and the bores appear to be the same diameter,a repair man says # is not right and it is actually circa 30s #96101 lower joint can't find one on upper

If the upper joint has been replaced (because of a crack or other catastrophe) it may not have a serial number. 96101 is a 1967 model. The Full Boehm would have been a special order instrument and the keywork may have been significantly different from the R13.
