Zonda reeds are available from 2.0 to 5.0.
Within that range are 20 sub strengths:
The #2 reed has a sub strength of A, B, or C (soft, medium, hard)
The #2.5 reed has a sub sterength of D or E (soft, hard)
The #3 reed has a sub strength of F, G, or H (soft, medium, hard)
The #3.5 reed has a sub strtength of I, J, or K (soft, medium, hard)
The #4 reed has a sub strength of L, M, or N (soft, medium, hard)
The #4.5 reed has a sub strength of O, P, or Q (soft, medium, hard)
The #5 reed has a sub strength of R, S or T (soft, medium, hard)

And be sure to print out Glenn's post when you order them, because even some of the folks who sell them don't understand about the substrengths. Up until a year or two ago, I had to explain this to almost everyone I talked to at the woodwind and then direct them to the Powell website to prove that I wasn't making it up.

.... and nobody asked, but comparatively to V-12s [standard strengths], the Zondas consistently play a half a strength softer across the board; that is, they play, regardless of sub-strength [I've found them to play] a half strength softer. But, fundamental quality, playability and longevity between brands is a different matter altogether. v/r Ken
