Hello,
Has anyone ever tried this tuner, or it's sibling "IntelliTouch"?
Are you happy with it?
I have tried several other chromatic auto tuners but haven't found one that is very reliable in detecting the notes played on the clarinet. Probably because of the rich overtone spectrum.
Can anyone recommend a chromatic tuner that is good for clarinet?

You may have already tried this, but I've been using the Korg CA-30 and it's been working fine for me. Small, inexpensive, and easy to use.

I have an IntelliTouch. It's OK. It doesn't clip onto my clarinet/bass clarinet anywhere, so I gave it to my dad and he tunes his string instruments with it (he plays guitar, mandolin, banjo, and fiddle), and it suits him just fine. I like my QuikTune better.

Henrik--Have you tried using a tuner pick-up mic that clips onto the bell? That can help with the issue of the tuner picking up overtones and/or background noise.. I have had students buy the Korg that J O'J mentions, and it has been a good choice being affordable and readily available.
