Hello everyone. I have nearly finished writing my program notes for my end of year recital, the only thing holding me back is the Honegger Sonatine. There isn't a lot on the internet, and I can't get into the library at uni before my recital. Help! please

NOTES BY Satsuki Inoue
Translated by Robin Thompson
(Program notes from Paul Meyer's CD: FRENCH CLARINET ART)
Arthur Honnegger (1892-1955) composed this work in 1921 and 1922, and it was first performed by Cahuzac in 1923. The first two movements have a restrained character, and are in strong contrast to the third movement, which features lively music incorporating elements from jazz.

BTW - You might want to do some research on Werner Reinhart to see his relationship with this work ...GBK
