Try Kalman Bloch. He loves Klezmer. I don't know if he is teaching anymore, but he's the kid of guy who loves to share so it may be worth a try. I haven't talked with his daughter Michele Zukovsky in a couple of months about him but last I checked she said that "he can do more pushups than she can".

And he released a klezmer/hebraic recording about 3 years ago at well past 80 years old.

Jeff Gold gives lessons in the Valley and in West L.A. Joellyn Lapidus gives Klezmer workshops at McCabes Guitar Shop in Santa Monica. I don't have their contact info handy at the moment but I could get it for you later. Ken
