 shoulder problems

So, I was completely stupid and fell a couple of weeks ago and tore my rotator cuff-left arm. It's not bad enough to need surgery, but it's bad enough to make playing miserable. Unfortunately, this is the worst time for this to happen. I have two recitals, two more concerts (that's after the one that was 2 days after my fall) a concert series of 8 days straight and Christmas eve gigs. My arm hurts the worst while I'm playing or just after. I saw a physical therapist and she said to try to wear my sling while playing, that was almost impossible. It is possible for me to play without it, but the pain is worse.

Anyone have any suggestions to make it through this next month and a half? Thanks in advance!
