20th Century Solo

Could anyone suggest a solo that was written after 1970 that is not too difficult? (Well, compared to Stockhausen and Berio!!) I tried searching the composition database but couldn't search based on dates. Thanks!

Dear Marci,
I like Five Pieces for Solo Clarinet by Gordon Jacob. I often play Preamble and Waltz together for performance. Neither piece is, technically, too difficult, but both have enormous scope for demonstrating musicality...and you don't have to pay an accompanist!!
Enjoy!
Ginger

Can anyone suggest any CD recordings of 20th century clarinet music?

Sherman Friedland is a sponsor of Sneezy.Org and has a very nice collection of music, both classical & contemporary, available for a low price. Check out http://www.sherman-friedland.sneezy.org for some samples.
