Anyone ever tried these mouthpieces? I just saw them in the sponsors section of this site and was curious. I have never heard them before.

As far as I know, he is clarinettist and was trained to be an engineer. He modified mouthpieces manufactured by Yamaha, Zinner and etc. He offers a great variety of mouthpieces, from wood to plastic, German to French and closed facing to open facing. I tried some of them before and it is fabulous. I would strongly recommend you to try them out, they are good and wok well with most reeds - particulary with the big V's.

I've also played on a few Viotto's, I love the sound and they work indeed great with most reeds. But I've always switched back to Vandoren mouthpieces.... I find the Vandoren's in the upper register more brilliant and powerful, than the Viotto's.
This doesn't mean that you shouldn't try them. They're really great mouthpieces and the mouthpiece that doesn't work for me, could be great for you....

Currently I'm using the Vandoren B40 dual tone exclusive, I use Vandoren traditional strenght 3 on them. In the past I've also played on Vandoren 5rv, V12 reeds strenght 4.
