I just heard stolzman's recording of the concerto and I just wanted to know if there are any transriptions currently published. Its actualy sounds quite nice on the clarinet and would like to play it

I think Southern does a transcription for bass clarinet. It lies very nicely on the instrument.

I personally couldn't think of anything more ghastly than this totally basson-centric work played on anything else (even the Contra) ... but that's just personal.
Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.

I don't know if it is still available, but I have a version for clarinet by Edition Musicus; PO Box 1341; Stamford, CT 06904. It is transcribed for various instruments (including bass clarinet, alto saxophone, trombone, etc.). The clarinet version is credited to Paul Dahm.
I don't think the concerto is great Mozart, but I find it a useful introduction to Mozart's style (along with works such as Ettlinger's arrangement of the Four Church Sonatas, and Bellison's Concerto Rondo).

I also have the same edition (arranged/edited by Paul Dahm) which Bradley Wong mentioned.
As a teenager, my first clarinet instructor had me purchase it in 1963 and learn it, before learning K.622.
Thinking back, not knowing at the time that it wasn't originally for clarinet, it never got in the way of me enjoying it...GBK
