I listened to this broadcast last night ... very good (to be expected). But goodness ... what's the story with Flugelhorns? Sorry, much rather the tone of the French Horn frankly.
Ives Three Places in New England still causes me to smile ... the last piece in particular is just a delightful amalgum of life.
Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.

Stenz just did a Mahler 10 (Cooke) in Sydney. I hadn't listened even to a recording for years. His performance (and the work itself) made me remember why I love listening to music. No more news radio. It's all Classic FM for me now.
