Hi Thunky [what an interesting name!] - I am just now "working-up" a Jean Martin, A series ?? wood cl, ?sold in the US by Martin Freres [brothers] France, I BELIEVE in the 1950's, so yours my have been made several years earlier ??? AsFarAsIKnow, there is no way for close-dating these "intermediate-quality horns, which flooded our markets [many as "stencils"] mid-century time, some good, some poor ! So, Search our archives for M F, for more opinions, they appear to me to be a Fr-Copy of a Buffet, perhaps there is some relationship?? When I am far enough along to have a playing opinion, I'll try to remember to post it. Luck, Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
