A pro music critic and champion of new music has an interesting Blog.
Thought it might interest this group. I found this while reading Andrew Druckenbrod's column in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

"but what is a blog?"
Make your own ongoing newsletter....a personal journal...'whatevah'
it is a Blog.
This one is by Sandow is more authoratative than most, and addresses issues of arts/music in today's society.
So now you know.
Arius, I will process your water upon the advent of another Butlerian Jihad.

"Blog" is short for "weblog." As Alseg says, it's a sort of diary published online and is pretty much what the writer makes of it. The blogs hosted on http://www.artsjournal.com, where Greg Sandow writes, are particularly good.
Almost every blog has links to other, like-minded blogs. I probably have 100 of them bookmarked, of which I read about 15 daily and 25 or so weekly. There's a lot of duplication, and also much garbage out there. You just have to try them and see what you like.
Best regards.

Yeah? What I am concerned about is who has to march behind the elephants?

The band marches behind the elephants -- always. It develops agility to keep your body straight while dancing around the obstructions.
My junior high school band director said he played in one of the last military bands mounted on horseback. He played trombone, too....

So the name Arius is from Dune, huh? I don't remember it, but then again I've only read the first book. I just picked the name 'cause it sounded cool.
