So the scenario is this: "powers that be" want to slash running costs. Orchestra doesn't, or at least can reach a compromise. It's a no win situation.

Isn't Philly one of your top orchestras?? Surely the subscriber base is at capacity?

Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.
