Anyone passing by Berlin these days, don´t miss a visit to the "Musikinstrumentenmuseum", there´s a wonderful exhibition of the clarinet´s history to be seen, to honour the 300th birthday of Denner´s invention of our instrument. There´s true bulky monsters, especially the solutions the makers came up with throughout the decades for the tenor- and bass-departement, and elegant beauties...Really something to value the smooth rollercoaster-mechanics and eact tone-holes of nowadays!
