I posted this once before, does anyone know of a good source for clarinet choir music? JW Pepper does not have much of a selection. Thanks.

go to www.luybenmusic.com for printed music, then instrumental solos and ensembles, then clarinet, then 2 or more clarinets. There's a reasonably good selection, although a lot of it is arrangements of popular stuff. There's none by this composer on that page, but if you find something by Goddaer, it's definitely worth looking at; he writes absolutely beautiful clarinet stuff, and if I remember correctly, was the most played composer at this past ClarinetFest. Hope this helps!

Brymer and I think, Lawson, list cl choir music and the publishers, which would help in finding them. Don

Thanks for the suggestions. I found Goddaer's web page, and I am going to look at Pressers and maybe Patelson's to see if they have any of his stuff. Since I'm buying it for kids (good ones) I want to see the level of maturity needed to play.

As for Brymer and Lawson, I am assuming you mean Jack Brymer but who is Lawson? And what are their websites' URLs? Thanks -

Lyn

Hi Lyn -

Send an e-mail to Charles Ellis-Macleod at duetnow@aol.com - he's developing a whole library of clarinet choir music!!

Cory in San Diego.

It sounds like Cory's post may provide the best listings. Both Brymer and Lawson are book authors, British, B's is "Clarinet", L's is "Cambridge Companion ---" and may be found in most libraries or ordered from Amazon and B & N inexpensively, There are more available such as by Stein, Pino, Baines, believe my good one, Rendall, is out of print, again, try the library.
