Gigliotti Reeds - has anyone tried them?

Just saw the sponsor banner for the 1stop clarinet and sax shop which carries them (WWBW doesn't).

They are very, very good! Tony was working on developing a reed for many years. When I was studying w/him from 1982-89 he was working on a synthetic reed but never got the material right. Glad to see that a reed ended up being out there (even if it was posthumous).

I don't like very many reeds out there commercially but that one I do. Cut very well, v. good sound (not bright at all) and responds well without much if any work needed. I think they are better than the V-12's! (Tony had input in the V-12 production)
