I'm surprised not to see it in the "What's Happening" calendar, but for anybody in NY/NJ -- David Hattner is performing the Finzi Bagatelles (Osborn string qtet accompaniment) and the Heinrich Baermann Quintet (Op 19?) on October 4th. He is repeating the program at the Princeton Symphony's chamber series at the end of the month, but the concert on the 4th is free. He also opened the rehearsal to the public starting around 4pm, which is great for students.
I'm definitely going, so if anybody wants info, just email me.
Mark.

I've been wondering how Hat's doing...haven't seen him here lately.

He's actually been doing well. Still playing the heck out of the clarinet, but spending a lot of time on his conducting (Aspen Fellow last year).
