Help....
I am looing for a composition or compositions to add to my repertoire that are in the klezmer style ( written out and published) that I would like to add to a recital(s) in order to showcase the clarinets versatile style.
I have already posted this on the Ethnic board but not having much success so far. Can anyone help me here?
Thank you
Stu

There is a peice that I have seen by Simon Sargon that was recorded by Steve Girko called KlezMuzik. I don't know the work, but it might be worth looking into.

There are also four pieces in the Klezmer style by Simeon Bellison (edited by Sident Forrest) and published by Southern. There is an excellent recording of them by Kalmen Bloch. They are terrific performance pieces....

While we're on this topic, does anyone know any klezmer-style pieces for woodwind quintet?
Best regards,
