Does anyone know of a maker who could (or does) produce a lightweight double case for Rossi clarinets?

I think Rossi makes one himself. Try emailing him.

Ben -
Perhaps person looking for a lightweight double doesn't like the case supplied with his/her clarinets.

Mine (delivered by Rossi in 1995) is very unconfortable and heavy. The one piece body clarinet impose hard restrictions on the case's dimensions.

I have seen....but I imagine it would be a special job as it belongs to Howard Klug...a wiseman 'tube' case jigged to take Rossi clarinets.
It was a quadruple case...but in the end only took bass (with a Rossi bell), A and B flat with plenty of storage. Heavy but practical.

The French company Orly makes an excellent lightweight double case. I think I ordered mine directly from Luis Rossi. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

I'm sure you'd be able to get a Wiseman case to fit a pair of Rossis*, after talking to Howard before I bought my tripple case I got the impression he's happy to adjust the designs as needed. However, I doubt it would count as a lightweight option. I find mine really practical and a lot easier to carry than either my single bass case or the collection of cases I used to carry however the weight does becomes an issue if a long walk is required.
*what is the plural of Rossi?

A certain musician in Chile
Must find all this word play quite see-lay.
With his name we are foolin'.
For his horns we are droolin'.
Better end this without any dee-lay.
