Woodwind Tech in Cincinnati (or Dayton)

Well, some of my horns are running out of steam, and it's time to recycle them through the repair shop. I'm fairly new to the midwest, so not quite sure who to trust. It would be nice to find someone who does nice work clarinet, flute, and sax. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

David Lusk: 513-576-6224; excellent clarinet repairman and builds top of the line flutes, unsure about the sax but I am pretty sure he does.
Hope that helps

Hi Tom,
Try Miles Davis in Louisville. I don't think you'll find a better repair guy around the area IMHO. You can visit his website here.... http://www.milesahead.org/
OR call him.... 502-479-3772 1-888-428-8952 . Hope this helps!

hey tom,

i'm from dayton, ohio. i don't have anything to offer really because i haven' t been playing for very long...the one time i had some tweeks done was at Hauer Music downtown dayton. i'm not really qualified to say how good a job they did, nor did i meet the repair person personally.

not much help but i thought let you know i'm in your area...

if you ever hear of a good jazz clarinet teach around here i'd be very interested :)

I second the idea of Miles Davis. Another thought: you aren't that far from Bloomington, Indiana, either. There are a number of good repair people in that area because of the university.
