What are your preferences for bass clarinet ligatures? Right now, I am using a shoestring for the bass at my college (since the other lig broke). Nothing wrong with it, it's just a hastle.

I like the BG Super Revalation. BIG sound yet clear with a nice staccato.

My M Lurie lig is preferred, I have used fabrics [Rovner types] reversed ! so that the bars contact the reed ala Bonade. Works ! Don

Am using the VD Optimum with the parallel bar insert on all of my clarinets, soprano and bass. Previous use includes Bay, Winslow, Harrison and conventional Selmer.

Eddie Daniels Ligature made by Rovner. Real ease of playing, projection, and response. Also not the most expensive one on the market so you definately get your money's worth!!!!

I like the ligature from Francois Louis on my bass clarinet.

before that I used standard Selmer, Buffet Crampon and Rovners. The F.L. ligature keeps the sound very clear and resonant.
