On Richard Stoltzman's CD "ARIA" are a couple of tracks that I would love
to have sheet music for. They are:
Puccini's O mio babbino caro and Gershwin's Summertime from Porgy and Bess
among a few others.
A few questions:
1) Is there sheet music for these in clarinet available for purchase?
2) Does anyone know if Stoltzman has transposed these himself for clarinet,
and if so are they available for purchase?
3) Are there clarinet midi files for these tracks? My search was not fruitful.
4) What are my other options to get these into sheet music for clarinet (no, I
cannot transpose these myself).
5) Anyone have any idea what brand and model of clarinet Stolzmen uses?
Thanks all.

At my local music store I saw a combo book and CD of "Arias". So it is available and your local music store should be able to order it.

Dee is right. I saw it in the music store today. And just to avoid confusion, I'm going to sign future messages as beejay, unless I can think of something more original.

if you are playing solo you can get porgy And Bess for piano and vocal. Summertime is in there plus some other great stuff i.e.Bess you are my woman, i love you Porgy and I got Plenty o' nuttin. This is the type of music i love. i'm looking a copy of "Rapsody in Blue" for the clarinet. i ordered from Sheet Music. com and Hope to have it within a week.
