picked up an old clarinet all it has on it is H7777 france its made of wood.I can find nothing so far anyone know? Thanks

If that is the only marking on it then there is no way to identify it.

I bought two just like it. No identification except for numbers. The tech who repadded and adjusted them identified them with no problem. One was a wooden Selmer CL200, the other a Noblet hard rubber (post WW2).
Technicians who have worked on many brands are your best bet.

I do not think a tech can accurately identify them just from the looks. Keep in mind that many different clarinet makers used the same key makers so that this alone is insufficient to identify the makers.
Selmer and Noblet, to the best of my knowledge, also marked their horns with the manufacturer info. Even if worn, these marks are visible under strong light when the horn is held at an angle.

Sometimes there is additional information that is only revealed by good cleaning and careful inspection.
