Just checking the classifieds ... someone has a "Binge Trumpet" for sale.
I thought trumpeters naturally had binges - why would they have to have a special trumpet just to fall down ...

Benge is the correct spelling! [ I knew that - my middle kid is a damn fine trumpet player - he's played at the Detroit Jazz festival a few times and was a member of the U of Mich Jazz Ensemble, the only non-music-major in the ensemble - and he just "plays for fun", never formally studied either music or the instrument ... "Eldon Benge, famous Principal Trumpet with the Detroit and Chicago Symphonies in the 1930s, began manufacturing custom symphonic trumpets in Chicago in 1939. The line he founded has grown to include professional-grade trumpets, cornets, flugelhorns and tenor and bass trombones. " Later moved west.

We have no room to talk -- people probably think our Buffets are of the all-you-can-eat variety.

A Binge thread he thought he would get
If he was nice, we would add some spice

I was thinking the same thing -
The ads on eBay make me cringe.
A trumpet whose maker is...Binge?
The author should be killed,
For he's clearly not skilled.
Get my hypodermic syringe ...GBK

GBK missed the ebay binge
his favored crystal mouthpiece did someone unhinge
The KGB after him they will seek
but all they will find
are Phat reeds to tweek*
[*Phat reeds are a brand that is often sold on ebay, for those not familiar
with the frequent flyer offerings. alseg]

When my stomach insists on a trumpet,
not a cracker, a scone, nor a crumpet....
on the grill, lightly singe
a most flavorful Binge
and that chocolate Bach? well, just dump it!

Rappers have Bling
yet They croon unlike Bing
But Trumpeters never flinch
They can Benge
and they can Binge

We definitely need more emoticons.
Pomarico makes them....but they are transparent, so they can't be seen and the files are easily corrupted by Windows and C+
.
Vandoren has a whole line of emoticons, but are they consistent? Computer schools have the B4.5 version preinstalled.
Glotin, has a nice one, but it costs a lot to download.
There was a family in Chicago that had exceptional emoticons, also inconsistent, but the software is protected by copyright and CIA-like encryption.
