 Miraculous Mandarin

i am sitting here listening to the Saint Louis symphony Orchestra doing the Miraculous Mandarin, and the clarinet bits sound great. It's a recording from 1992, who was playing in the section back then?
One thing i particuarly like is that the woodwind section blend with the brass well (in the moments that this is required). Fine orchestral playing, not just from the clarinet section!

Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra clarinet section (1992)

George Silfies - Principal
Robert Coleman - Assistant First Clarinet/Eb Clarinet
Christine Ward - Second Clarinet
James Meyer - Bass Clarinet

BTW - I'm fairly sure at that time Silfies was playing on an O'Brien crystal mouthpiece ...GBK

The St . Louis orchestra is one of the great groups..they made some wonderful records and George Silfies is a great player who has alot of individuality...he has long be underrated which is a crying shame.
