Beware! If you're a bidder for an R13 but didn't win it you might receive an e-mail from a scam artist who pretends to be a seller.
This person would say something like this: ....the original winning bidder on the item did not come up with the money so that you're next in line.
One of these scammers from Jackson Heights, NY had already contacted a lower bidder for my R-13 auction and just because we exchanged e-mails on this item before he knew who I was and didn't become an unsuspecting sucker duped out of almost $1K.

Please be careful with this scam
But also, do not get a bad impression of Jackson Heights - it's a wonderful neighborhood - one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in the world - with some of the best Indian, Chinese, Columbian, Argentinian, etc. restaurants. And you can also still get a good egg cream.

I haven't been to Jackson in ages. Last time I've been there on foot, I probably didn't even know how to play clarinet. I remember it being rather crowded and dirty at places, but Larry's right, you sure can find your share of Asian and Latin American food to enjoy, that is if you don't mind the 7 train overhead on Roosevelt Ave.
