 Cracked LeBlanc

I recently sent my clarinet to the LeBlanc factory and had my Concerto II pinned, not more than a month ago. The crack has re-opened... Would re-pinning work?

I would contact David Surber [dmsurber@gleblanc.com] and ask a few questions especially if they could replace the upper joint. How long have you had it and is it still under warranty?

"i have heard quite a bit about concerto II's cracking..."

From whom?
How many?

Verifiable sources?

I wonder how many instruments "X" are purchased by a younger demographic that does not follow handling instructions for new horns...

There was the same sort of loose allegation about Buffet a few years back, and Yamaha before that. Having contact with some top dogs from the "Good old days", I would assert that this has ALWAYS gone on, and for the same reasons.
