hello everyone,
I would like anyone's help, in order to find what brand, year, and make of a barrel, it seems to be a plastic barrel, but the difference is that is a tunable one, but instead of click, is a screw type, well if anyone would like to help me, (and any is appreciated) I would be more than happy to email them a picture of this barrel..
thanks
Vero

I have a barrel that looks exactly like yours and is adjustable from 58 mm to 72 mm. It was given to me by my music teacher in 1960 and was used at that time. Mine has the following markings
AMERITE
MICRO
1
GERMANY
If I had to guess I would say that mine predates WWII.

I have seen several adjustable barrels in U S patents, and will make a search this PM and report. You could go to www.uspto.gov, select "quick search", via clarinet AND barrel, and look at what is retrieved. Luck, Don

The search "clarinet AND barrel" retrieves 46 pats, adding "AND adjustable" will reduce it to 15, which has several of possible interest. If you are still inquisitive, you might try "AND tuning" in place of "AND adj". Happy reading! Don
