 Odd Vandoren Reed

I know, I know...all of you are probably going to say Vandorens are odd to begin with, but I just opened a box of Vandoren Black masters. Nine were the usual reeds and marked with the Vandoren stamp. However, the tenth reed, which happened to be the best in the box, did not have the Vandoren stamp and was marked only "Superiere" in very small letters vertical to the reed at the butt end. Any ideas what this might be?
