 Pomarico and m13

I got my pomarico emerald m and compared to my Van. M13 it plays stuffy not loud enough does anybody know the tip and faceing measurement's of these two mouthpieces.

Gene,
I also play on an M13. My understanding (from postings you can find if you search the archives) is that the M13 has a tip opening of slightly over 1.0mm and a facing length of 22mm. This places the M13 toward one end of the spectrum (closed tip, long facing) so you can expect to have to adjust when trying other mouthpieces. A number of people who post on this BB are knowledgeable about Pomaricos.

The opening for the Pomarico emerald is very closed at 1.02mm with a facing of 18mm. It's ideal for classical and symphonic player.

What reeds are you using? Lig? Recommended reed strenght for the Emerald is 3-4.
