Hi all. I just got back from Europe where I was on a youth symphony tour, and then stopped by the Buffet factory outside Paris. THey gave me a selection of RC Prestiges and Toscas to choose from, and I ended up getting a pair of the Prestiges. We got a tour of the factory, lunch provided and refreshments. It was such a good experience, the people there are wonderful. We tested the instruments with their strange looking tuning machines, and they each play near perfect. Plus I got through customs without any worries so very very happy with that Thanks to everyone who gave me advice and contacts of music stores in Paris etc.

Good to hear. Were I you, I'd be searching for some old posts about guarding new instruments against certain phenomena, know what I mean?

No, just curious ... I'm sure you had a ball, I remember SYO's tour to Asia (years ago) ... had my first experience of a "evil American" in the form of a wicked Long Island Iced Tea ... reaquainted myself quite recently, will I ever learn?
