Ken, you DO mean arrangement and not composition right?
If an arrangement, this chart IS a toughie to find. I quick-checked 4-5 of the most reputable band music websites and turned up nothing. It's now officially what I call an "infuriating four." 1) Too new 2) Too old 3) Out of stock 4) Out of print.
I did see a baker's dozen or so of Morrissey original band works but no Nightfall. And unfortunately, with the posted skill level and/or grading of the viewed pieces my usual elfs are of little help. Keep looking....

Nightfall was published by Hal Leonard Corporation, but the band arrangement of the solo is permanently out of print.
Sometimes you can get lucky by checking out the band libraries of some of the local high schools in your area. Many of the Morrissey arrangements (ex: Interlude - for clarinet and band) were bought by public schools to feature their outstanding soloists. These arrangements are often just sitting around collecting dust.
Since Nightfall was originally for alto saxophone (or clarinet) you might try listing your request on the sax on the web forum bulletin board.

GBK to the rescue, there ya go. Good advice. Local high schools are excellent sources for the chart as well as getting a lead. A local junior college or University with a music program might also have a spare copy. v/r Ken

Thanks, guys. I'm more interested in the score than anything else. I'd like to arrange it for jazz clarinet and piano. I need the chords and I'm too lazy to figure them out myself.

Yes, that was my thought, too. Actually, I wonder whether Morrissey's composition was in any way inspired by the Asimov story? Any program notes with the score . . . anybody's who's performed it?

Morrisey's "Nightfall" was probably written because his "Interlude" (clarinet and piano/ clarinet and band) was so successful with educators.
The two works have many similarities in melody, chordal structure and compositional layout (opening cadenza, A-B-A format, "bluesy" B section with gliss, lots of clarinet arpeggiated major chords with an added 6th, etc...)
Since "Interlude" was written in 1957 and "Nightfall" was in written in 1958, it was probably a case of trying to duplicate the popularity of the first work...GBK (who has performed both pieces)

Of course makes you wonder if there was a preceding composition, "Sunrise" or "Daybreak."

No composer's notes referencing anything.
The titles of the pieces ("Interlude" / "Nightfall" ) are totally irrelevant to the musical aspects of the composition.
For that matter, Morissey could have titled it "My Grandmother's Kitchen Sink" ...GBK
