does anyone know what is the standard pitch of
America? 440? 441? 442?
I need to decide the pitch before I order a
mouthpiece here.
thanks

North American pitch in general is A440, so use that as a reference. However, it's notorious that many groups play sharp ;-)

If the group is tuned from an oboe, or a not-too-recent [FR]clarinet [with a stock {long} barrel], it will be 440 [or close to it], but a recently tuned piano may be 442+! If by an elect. tuner, ask your director!!, he may tune high. I have found little use for my longer LeBlanc barrel in my playing! Don

The "standard" pitch in the US is A=440. Many orchestras are going up to A=441-443. The Houston Symphony (while they were under Eschenbach) plays at 442. I've played in some orchestras that tuned to 441 and 442. But most school groups tuned to 440. As do most bands.

That explains it! When playing with our community band, I can keep the tuning joint on my bass clarinet at pretty much the same point and be in tune. When I played with a small orchestra for a Christmas program, I had to push in about a 16th of an inch to be in tune.
