I suspect I have an overuse injury of some sort and would like to get it checked out. Over the last month or two, my clarinet seemed to be getting unusually heavy (I was concerned I would drop it) and in the last week, the tip of my thumb has started to go numb after playing a while. I also have pain up the middle of the top of my forearm. I play about 2 hours a day, but I suspect the real culprit is the fact that I spend 8-9 hours a day tethered to the mouse for my laptop. Can someone local point me to a good medical resource who can help?
Thanks,
Lala
