 Case strap review
Author: Ralph Katz
Date:   2004-07-07 20:05

I replaced the strap on my Protec Pro Pac double case with an "Absolute Shoulder Strap" from Tom Bihn, and lugged it around eastern Europe for 12 days (http://www.tombihn.com).

For $25 this was not as good a deal as the Protec case, but on the other hand it is a much better strap than the original. The Absolute has more padding, gives a little, and has a forest of non-slip rubber dots on the bottom to keep it on your shoulder. It is length-adjustable, and has much better quality (i.e., metal) clips to hold it to your case.

I wish it had more padding and less stretch, but it was still a good buy, and definitely more comfortable for the long haul than the original strap.
